Anti-Skid (high friction) Surfacing

The anti-skid materials we use have been chosen to our specification for the provision of greater safety in a wide variety of situations. In addition to providing a safer surface, the protection afforded by this tough seamless surfacing will ensure an extended life for the substrate.

The material is a liquid applied, rapid cure system based on Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) resins. The system consists of a tough resin binder with an aggregate over scatter.

The product can be provided and in a range of colours with a specific range of high Polished Stone Value (PSV) or general purpose aggregates to provide slip resistant properties in a wide variety of trafficked and pedestrian areas. The rapid cure of the product offers a significant advantage over epoxy and polyurethane system as the rapid cure even at temperatures lower than it is possible to lay other materials, means the road can be opened to traffic much more quickly.

Floor Graphics

Our range of flexible and high quality Esseline line marking and surface coating products bring floor graphics to life both internally and externally.
Expertise in this specialist field includes bespoke line marking using Esseline CR –
a highly durable chlorinated rubber line marking material which is wheel dry in just 15 minutes and retains its colour brilliance under all conditions.

Airfield Markings

Wellpool can offer a full application of Airfield Markings to Aprons, Taxiways and Runways to conform to CAA's CAP168, or Military JSP318.

Line marking of runways, taxiways and pavements are a very important maintenance task of airports and Wellpool have undertaken this function for both civilian and Ministry of Defence airfields.

All forms of marking can be undertaken - chlorinated rubber, one and two pack epoxys, and hot applied thermoplastic can be applied depending on the specification.
